Scholarship Program & FHBPA Office Services Update

 
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2016-2017
Applications are now being accepted for the FHBPA Scholarship Program for the 2016-2017 school year. Those eligible to apply for these Scholarships include the following persons that work with our equine athletes, and the workers’ dependents, who reside in Florida full-time: licensed trainers, assistant trainers, foremen, grooms, exercise riders, pony persons and hot walkers. There are also financial and other requirements for these need-based scholarships which may be used at any accredited college, university, community college or trade school.
The deadline for submission of completed Applications is July 25, 2016.

INTERNET COMPUTER FOR HORSEMEN AT GULFSTREAM
A dedicated internet-access computer and printer for use by horsemen has been set up in the lounge area of the FHBPA trailer at Gulfstream Park. FHBPA is pleased to provide this convenience service to its members in addition to other regularly available services such as photocopying, fax and notary.
