(or February 28 – $500)*
* Previous yearling payment must have been made

Last Chance Payment
You have the option to pay $10,000 by May 1 of the horse’s two-year old year regardless of any previous payment (the horse must not have started)

Stallions – February 15 – $2,000
(or August 1 – $3,000 or November 15 – $10,000)

The nationally acclaimed and lucrative Florida Sire Stakes program had a very strong showing in 2018 in terms of noticeable increases in FSS-eligibles and in field sizes for the core 2-year-old stakes races at Gulfstream Park, as well as an expansion to eleven stakes races for all ages between Gulfstream and Tampa Bay Downs.

The 2018 FSS 2-year-old stakes series at Gulfstream resulted in six fields averaging twelve horses per gate and a whopping 23.4% increase in handle over 2017 across the three FSS days at the track.
